Burnley are in talks with Leicester City attacker Marc Albrighton over a switch to Turf Moor, according to a report.

Leicester City attacker Marc Albrighton is reportedly in talks with Burnley over a summer move.

The 31-year-old has made 253 appearances for the Foxes since arriving from Aston Villa in 2014, contributing 15 goals and 42 assists in all competitions.

Albrighton was again a regular during the 2020-21 campaign, making 42 outings for Brendan Rodgers's side, including 31 in the Premier League, which included 17 starts.

The versatile attacker only has one year left to run on his contract at the King Power Stadium, though, and according to the Daily Mail, he is in talks with Burnley over a move to Turf Moor.

The report claims that Albrighton is keen to play more regularly at this stage of his career and is viewed by Clarets boss Sean Dyche as the ideal acquisition in the current market.

The former Aston Villa youngster has won the Premier League and FA Cup during his time at the King Power Stadium.
