Lazio and Fiorentina have played out a goalless draw in Serie A, despite the Aquile going close to grabbing a victory on several occasions throughout the game.

In what turned out to be a rather tame first half, the best chance fell to Lazio's Hernanes, who flashed a free kick just wide of the post.

The Brazilian looked the most creative player on the pitch and continued to cause problems after half time, as he forced a good save from Neto in the Fiorentina goal.

Hernanes again looked like he was going to push Lazio towards victory, but his fierce strike was blocked by Stefan Savic as it looked destined for the net, leaving the game to finish 0-0.
