Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner confirms that he has a growing injury list ahead of his side's Premier League game away to Burnley on Saturday.

Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner has revealed that a number of key players will miss this weekend's Premier League meeting with Burnley.

The Terriers have enjoyed a promising start to life in the top flight, losing just once in their opening five games of the season following promotion from the Championship.

However, Wagner announced that the likes of Steve Mounie, Danny Williams and Colin Quaner are currently sidelined, while Laurent Depoitre and Rajiv ban La Parra are doubts for Saturday's encounter at Turf Moor.

When asked about the fitness of Mounie and Williams, Wagner told Sky Sports News: "Both will not be in contention this weekend. Steve will probably be ready for the next home game against Tottenham.

"Danny has a small fracture on the bone in his foot. We have a specialist appointment tomorrow where we will get some information about how long he's out. At the moment, this is very open as it is a very small fracture. He is definitely out for tomorrow and anything else we will know after the weekend.

"Lolo (Depoitre) and Rajiv are stiff. Lolo Depoitre is further along than Rajiv with whom there is some doubt at the moment. So we have some injury concerns at the moment but we will find some solutions for it. Colin Quaner is out too. He will be ready during the next international break."

Chelsea loanee Kasey Palmer is also out of action, having suffered a recurrence of an old hamstring injury while on recent international duty with the England Under-21s.
