Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City are level in a tight Championship game at the John Smith's Stadium at half time.
Huddersfield unusually lined up in a 3-5-2 formation, and almost went in front inside 10 minutes when captain Mark Hudson, who spent five years at Cardiff, headed just wide from a corner.
Jacob Butterfield also came close for the hosts with a curled free kick, while Eoin Doyle tested Town keeper Alex Smithies with a close-range header. Hudson then again went close on 37 minutes, with a glancing header well saved by David Marshall.
Neither side was able to assert their authority effectively, with Huddersfield marginally happier after Cardiff were forced to bring Matthew Connolly on for Scott Malone, who suffered a hamstring injury.
