Port Vale sign former Chelsea youngster Aziz Deen-Conteh

Port Vale complete the signing of former Chelsea defender Aziz Deen-Conteh on a contract that expires in 2017.

Former Chelsea left-back Aziz Deen-Conteh has joined League One side Port Vale.

The 21-year-old spent seven years in the academy at Stamford Bridge, but he never made a senior appearance and the defender went on to spend last season with Greek club Ergotelis.

However, he has now returned to England, having committed himself to Vale Park until the summer of 2017.

"We'd like to welcome Aziz to the football club. We know we've got a talent on board and one we can develop to hopefully benefit the first team and the football club," manager Rob Page told the club's official website.

Deen-Conteh has represented England at Under-16 and Under-19 level.
