John Collins: 'Ronny Deila will be fine'

John Collins insists that new manager Ronny Deila will be fine as Celtic boss, despite their defeat in midweek.

Celtic assistant manager John Collins has said that Ronny Deila will do well as the club's manager.

Deila came under scrutiny by certain sections after watching his side crash to a 4-1 defeat against Legia Warsaw in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier on Wednesday night.

However, Collins has leapt to the defence of the former Stromsgodset boss.

He is quoted as saying by the Daily Record: "I don't think you can write any manager off after one game.

"I know how hysterical people can be but Ronny will be fine, don't worry."

The second leg takes place at Hampden Park next Wednesday, where Celtic will need to score at least three goals to remain in the competition.
