Burnley have announced the signing of free agent Nathan Redmond, making the attacker the Clarets' fifth incoming of the summer transfer window.
A two-year deal with the option of a further 12 months has been handed to the former Norwich City player, meaning that he is set to embark on his 10th season in England's top flight.
The 29-year-old left Besiktas at the expiration of his contract after the 2022-23 term, and will now be making a return to top-flight English football where he has spent the majority of his senior career.
A record of five goals and five assists in 20 Turkish Super Lig matches represented a solid campaign for the former Birmingham City youngster in 2022-23, with Redmond reaching double digits in goal contributions for the first season since 2018-19.
That campaign commenced almost half a decade ago under the stewardship of Mark Hughes followed by Ralph Hasenhuttl at Southampton, with the winger making 232 appearances during a six-year stint on the South coast.

Welcome to Burnley, Nathan!
Vincent Kompany's side have lured the attacker back to the Premier League after a year away in Turkey, and the Clarets will be hoping that Redmond can bolster an attack which lost veteran forward Ashley Barnes to Norwich City.
"I always had aspirations to play again in the Premier League. Burnley's project matches with my ambitions," said Redmond, who spoke to the club's official website after making the switch to Turf Moor.
"The management team feel like they can enhance my game more and see the value I can bring on and off the field. It feels like a perfect match."
Head coach Kompany added: "Nathan brings a wealth of experience from playing in the Premier League and more recently from his time in Turkey where he's been outstanding. We're looking forward to playing a big part in his next chapter.
"He's got a great work ethic, plenty of skill and a willingness to continue learning. He also brings his personality and character to this football club which will benefit the younger players here."

Redmond becomes Burnley's fifth signing of a busy summer window following the arrivals of Dara O'Shea, Lawrence Vigouroux, Zeki Amdouni and James Trafford.
Michael Obafemi and Jordan Beyer have both returned to the club following loan spells last season, linking up with the Clarets for the 2023-24 term after making permanent switches from Swansea City and Borussia Monchengladbach respectively.
Kompany's men will continue their pre-season schedule on Saturday evening at the Cegeka Arena in Belgium, where a tricky test against Genk awaits for the Premier League newcomers.
Friendlies against Benfica and Real Betis round off an intriguing-looking summer itinerary, before the season kicks off properly with a clash against champions Manchester City on August 11 in Lancashire.
