Eddie Howe recognises importance of Bournemouth's clash with Hull City

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe admits that their Premier League clash with Hull City is "very, very important".

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has said that his squad are aware of the importance of their Premier League clash with Hull City.

The two clubs have been tipped to be fighting for survival come the end of the season, and after seven games there is just one point separating them in the table.

Howe has acknowledged that his team must take advantage of their home fixtures this season but he has stressed that he wants his players to enjoy playing in front of their own supporters.

The 38-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We know the importance of this game. Every home game, especially with the form we are in at home, we feel is very, very important.

"As a footballer you should enjoy coming out to play at home in front of your own supporters."

Bournemouth have won two of their three home games in the top flight this season.
