Lille, Bordeaux play out goalless draw

Bordeaux and Lille play out a goalless draw in Ligue 1.

Lille and Bordeaux have played out a goalless draw in Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon.

Bordeaux attacked early with Maxime Poundje and Thomas Toure strikes blocked in the opening seven minutes.

Enzo Crivelli's shot towards the bottom right corner was saved by Vincent Enyeama in the 23rd minute.

Lille's Baptiste Guillaume came close to opening the scoring when he hit the right post in the 37th minute.

After the restart, Sofiane Boufal and Marko Basa both missed the target from close-range headers.

It was Bordeaux's turn to hit the post on the hour mark when Crivelli's shot beat Enyeama and rebounded away.

Boufal was next to test Bordeaux goalkeeper Jerome Prior before Clement Chantome's long-range effort at the other end was saved.

In the 83rd minute, Djibril Sidibe's shot towards the bottom left corner was saved and the match finished goalless.
