Report: Rodri to join Almeria permanently

A report claims that Almeria want to sign on-loan Barcelona striker Rodri on a permanent basis.

Almeria are reportedly keen on signing on-loan Barcelona striker Rodri on a permanent basis.

As it stands, the 23-year-old, who has notched seven league goals for the newly-promoted outfit this season, will return to the Camp Nou next summer.

However, according to reports in Spain, both parties are keen to make the deal permanent, with Rodri unlikely to break into the first-team set-up with his parent club.

It is believed that a figure in the region of £800,000 has been set for the forward, with the deal expected to be completed should Almeria avoid relegation to the Segunda Division.
