Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Girona

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Girona.

Barcelona will be looking to make it eight straight wins in all competitions when they take on Girona in La Liga on Saturday afternoon.

The Catalan outfit recorded a 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad on Wednesday evening to secure their spot in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

Xavi's side have won their last two in La Liga, meanwhile, and they are currently top of the table, three points clear of second-placed Real Madrid.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Girona, who currently sit 11th in Spain's top flight.

Barcelona have no injury concerns heading into the match.

Status: Out
Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Real Betis)

Robert Lewandowski was involved against Real Sociedad on Wednesday, but he has one more game to serve on his La Liga suspension, so the team's leading goalscorer will be absent for this game.

Ferran Torres

Status: Out
Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Real Betis)

Ferran Torres received a two-game ban for his red card against Atletico Madrid, so the Spaniard will also be missing for the contest with Girona this weekend.
