Raul Garcia: "We had to give our all"

Atletico Madrid midfielder Raul Garcia praises his teammates following Sunday's 1-0 win over Valencia at the Mestalla.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Raul Garcia has praised his teammates following Sunday's 1-0 win over Valencia at the Mestalla.

Two wins from Atletico's final three league games will secure the La Liga title, but Garcia has now switched his attention to Wednesday's Champions League semi-final second leg against Chelsea.

"Valencia came out to win. It was difficult. We had to give our all, especially for those who always support us. The match against Levante will be difficult as well," he told reporters.

"We're doing this with sacrifice and humility. We are a team. We always give our all. That's why we are where we are.

"Now, the most important match is the one on Wednesday. In London, things will be even. Chelsea are fighting for the Premiere League and we are going to make things very difficult. The support of our fans will be very important. That's why we know how we have to win for all of them."

Atletico are currently level at 0-0 with Chelsea from the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
