Sports Mole looks ahead to this Saturday's Premier League match between Aston Villa and Norwich City, which will be the first time Villa boss Paul Lambert goes up against his former club.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert comes face to face with his former club Norwich City for the first time since leaving Carrow Road in the summer.

The Scotsman leads his men into the home fixture on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Fulham last weekend, which has placed the Midlands outfit just one point above the relegation zone in the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Norwich sit just just two spots above Villa in the table following a difficult start to the season under new manager Chris Hughton but last weekend's 1-0 win over Arsenal is likely to boost the players' confidence as they head to Villa Park.

Lambert could opt for a forward partnership of Gabriel Agbonlahor and Darren Bent, while Hughton is expected to field Wesley Hoolahan at the centre of a five-man midfield.

Recent form:

Aston Villa: WLDLL
Norwich: DLLLW

Possible starting lineups:

Aston Villa: Guzan; Lowton, Vlaar, Baker, Bennett; Ireland, El Ahmadi, Delph, Holman; Agbonlahor, Bent

Norwich: Ruddy; Martin, Turner, Bassong, Garrido; Bennett, Johnson, Hoolahan, Tettey, Pilkington; Holt

Sports Mole says: 1-1
