Arsenal's Arsene Wenger not interested in Zlatan Ibrahimovic "at the moment"

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says that he is not interested in signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic "at the moment".

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that he is not thinking about trying to lure Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the Emirates "at the moment".

The Sweden international has been linked with a move to the Premier League as he is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.

Arsenal has been touted as a potential destination, but Wenger has played down reports that the Gunners are interested in the striker.

When asked by journalists if the club are keen on Ibrahimovic, Wenger said: "Look, at the moment, no.

"We are not on that case. We have other worries at the moment. It's short-term. We are not on Zlatan's case. Even at 34, he's had a great season at PSG.

"At the moment you can understand my priority ahead of Everton is not the transfer market on signings next season. I'm just surprised by the name you've thrown at me. We're not thinking of signing anybody at the moment."

Arsenal were quiet in the summer transfer window last season as they only signed goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea.
