Team News: Petr Cech starts on return to Chelsea

Arsenal's Petr Cech starts in goal on his return to Chelsea, while John Terry remains on the home side's bench.

Arsenal's Petr Cech starts in goal on his return to Chelsea, while John Terry remains on the home side's bench.

Former Chelsea keeper Cech returns after being rested for Wednesday's Champions League defeat by Dinamo Zagreb, and Gabriel partners Laurent Koscielny at centre-back with Per Mertesacker still sidelined.

Theo Walcott is handed the reins to lead the Gunners attack with Olivier Giroud on the bench.

Jose Mourinho sticks with Kurt Zouma and Gary Cahill as his centre-back partnership. Branislav Ivanovic returns at right-back, and Pedro is also back in the Blues starting lineup after a two-game absence. Oscar starts after shaking off a knee problem.

Arsene Wenger earned his first win over Mourinho at the 14th attempt when Arsenal beat Chelsea 1-0 in last month's Community Shield. The Chelsea boss lost back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since May 2006. He has never lost three league games in a row during his managerial career.

Cech only needs four more Premier League clean sheets to equal the competition record of 169 set by David James, while Walcott has scored 11 goals in his last 11 starts in the Premier League.
