Dominika Cibulkova has overcome top seed Caroline Wozniacki to secure a place in the quarter finals at Wimbledon.
Wozniacki managed the first set comfortably, winning 6-1, but conceded the second 6-7 (5-7) after failing to break her opponent's serve. The Slovakian continued her fight to stay in the game in the final set, taking the lead to finish with a surprise result of 1-6 6-7 (7-5) 7-5.
The world number one, who still has yet to win a Grand Slam title, leaves Wimbledon at the fourth round for the third year running.
In tomorrow's quarter final Cibulkova faces number five seed Maria Sharapova, who earlier defeated China's Shuai Peng 6-4 6-2.
