Laura Robson through at US Open

British number one Laura Robson is into round two of the US Open with a 7-5 6-0 win over Spain's Lourdes Dominguez Lino.

British number one Laura Robson has reached round two of the US Open with a straight-sets win over Spain's Lourdes Dominguez Lino.

Both players struggled to hold serve during a scrappy first set, but it was the number 30 seed who eventually came through 7-5.

However, it was different story in the second as Robson broke three times to close out the match 6-0.

Waiting for Robson in the next round will be either France's Caroline Garcia or American Shelby Rogers.
