Venus Williams gave a vintage performance of power and precision to beat Canadian Aleksandra Wozniack in straight sets in round two of the women's Olympic singles at Wimbledon.
The 30-year-old American broke her opponent three times in the opening set as she ran out a comfortable 6-1 winner.
Despite dropping two service games in the second, Williams was again dominant and served out the match 6-3.
The win has set up a third-round clash with German seventh seed Angelique Kerber.
