Roger Federer dismissed Richard Gasquet in just 49 minutes to book his place in the quarter-finals at the Miami Masters this evening with a 6-1 6-2 victory.
The two-time Miami champion needed just 25 minutes to wrap up the opening set as Gasquet struggled to match his opponent's movement around the court.
The Swiss picked up an early break in the second to give himself a chance to wrap up a quick victory, and sealed the win with another break shortly after.
Gasquet struggled to get his serve in throughout the match, and appeared to tire towards the end of the meeting.
Federer will play Japan's Kei Nishikori in the last eight.
