Grega Zemlja ended home favourite Kyle Edmund's challenge in the first round of the Aegon Championships at Queen's this evening.
Edmund began confidently, holding serve in the first game before earning two break points on the Slovenian's serve but failing to take advantage.
Holds of serve followed before Zemlja snapped Edmund's serve in the ninth game to move 5-4 ahead, serving out the opener in the next game.
At the start of the second Zemlja again looked menacing but he couldn't convert three break points in the opening game.
Neither man offered a break point in the remainder of the set but it was Zemlja who won the tie-breaker to book his place in the next round.
He will now face Sergiy Stakhovsky in round two.
