Novak Djokovic has beaten Viktor Troicki to a place in the quarter-finals of the Paris Masters.
World number 19 Troicki gave the top seed an early scare in the first set, breaking Djokovic in the first game and going on to win the set 6-4.
Djokovic responded by taking the second set 6-3 before sealing the match with a one-sided final set score of 6-1, marking ten wins from eleven games in the pair's head-to-head.
The 2009 champion will next face either Jo-Wilfried Tsonga or Andreas Seppi for a place in the semis.
