Andy Murray misses out on Barbados exhibition

Andy Murray's comeback from back surgery is delayed after the Dream Cup exhibition in Barbados is cancelled.

Wimbledon champion Andy Murray has been forced to delay his comeback from back surgery after the Dream Cup exhibition in Barbados was cancelled.

Murray had been due to compete against Juan Martin del Potro, Nicolas Almagro and Richard Gasquet at next week's event, but the tournament has been shelved after an injury to Gasquet.

The world number four had been hoping to play his first matches since undergoing a "minor" procedure on a back problem after returning to the practice court earlier this week.

The 26-year-old will now continue to prepare for an exhibition in Abu Dhabi over Christmas.
