Wigan Warriors chairman Ian Lenagan has given the clearest indication that the club will announce the signing of Andy Powell from Sale Sharks this week.
Lenagan has revealed that the club will hold "an important press conference" on Tuesday, where it is expected that Powell will be officially unveiled to the media.
The move had been delayed due to the two clubs failing to agree on a transfer fee, but it is understood that the deal has now been rubber stamped.
The length of the contract has not yet been disclosed.
