Widnes Vikings secured a 37-36 victory over Wigan Warriors on Sunday afternoon.
It was Wigan who started the stronger and two early goals from Josh Charnley and tries from Gareth Hock and Harrison Hansen sent the away side into an early lead.
Matthew Russell added a try of his own, before Gareth O'Brien led the home side's comeback with three goals late in the opening half.
Charnley moved the away side into a comprehensive lead early in the second period with three goals, but O'Brien added two of his own for Widnes, and a Lloyd White conversion secured the 37-36 win with ten minutes remaining.
