Tim Smith returns to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats

Australian scrum-half Tim Smith returns to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on a one-year deal.

Australian scrum-half Tim Smith has returned to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats for the 2015 season.

The 29-year-old joined Salford Red Devils a year ago, but he soon made the switch back to Wakefield on loan after failing to settle at the AJ Bell Stadium.

"I'm obviously delighted that Tim will be playing for us in 2015," coach James Webster told the club's official website.

"Everyone who has followed the club for the past three years will have seen the influence that Tim has on the team. Tim's experience and direction will be priceless in the aim of yet again improving next season."

Wakefield finished the 2013-14 Super League campaign in 12th place in the table.
