Leeds Rhinos have extended their lead at the top of the Super League table by thrashing Hull Kingston Rovers 36-16 this evening.
Kieran Dixon kept the visitors in the game early on, scoring two tries inside the first 15 minutes to cancel out scores from Stevie Ward and Mitch Achurch.
Ryan Hall ensured that Leeds were ahead at half time though, before scoring his second try of the match midway though the second half, leaving the home side 12 points clear with 20 minutes to go.
Kevin Sinfield extended their advantage further though, adding Leeds' sixth try of the night just before full time, while also adding a sixth conversion.
Despite coming close to the Leeds try line on several occasions in the second half, Rovers could not add to their 16 points from the first half.
The result moves Leeds three points clear of St Helens, while Rovers remain ninth.
