Huddersfield Giants head coach Paul Anderson has accused his players of being "complacent and soft" in their meeting with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

The Giants scored six tries to secure the victory which makes certain of fourth place in the Super League table.

Despite seeing his side claim an important win - their fifth victory in six games - Anderson hit out at his squad after the match.

"That was pathetic and a shower of shit," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Star. "If we want to be serious contenders we have to be a million times better. That can't happen again if we want to win a Grand Final. It was complacent and soft."

Leroy Cudjoe crossed over for the Giants' fifth try of the afternoon to bring up the milestone of 100 during his career.
