The 31-year-old utility forward, who made the move to the Provident Stadium from Hull Kingston Rovers in 2010, has committed to the club until the end of the next campaign.
"Chev is a very strong individual, who offers our team a huge amount, and it is great to have him secured for next season," Bulls coach James Lowes told told the club's official website.
"He is vastly experienced and has performed at the top of the sport, in a number of different scenarios. He will act as a real leader for us next year, guiding some of our younger recruits in what will be an exciting, yet challenging Championship campaign."
Adam O'Brien, Dale Ferhuson, Adam Sidlow, Tom Olbison, Adam Henry and Lee Gaskell have all already signed new contracts at the relegated Super League outfit.
