Kenny Jackett has revealed that he will be looking to add more players to Wolverhampton Wanderers' squad once the loan window opens next week.
From Tuesday, clubs outside the Premier League will be able to bring players in on temporary deals.
The manager told Express & Star: "The loan window opens within a week and it's open to mid-November. So there's not a lot of difference. Ideally you would take permanent signings and be able to work with them from day one of pre-season.
"But if you don't quite get that, you have to adapt. Certainly there's a market for taking a loan player, taking a look at him and converting it to a permanent deal.
"That's something that does work because there can be players who you're not certain about, you give them the opportunity for three or four months and you convert them into permanent signings at the next window."
Wolves sit third in the Championship table following the first five games of the season.
