Matt Jarvis: 'Past experience will help us survive'

Matt Jarvis urges his Wolverhampton Wanderers teammates to call upon their previous experiences to secure Premier League football for another season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Matt Jarvis is confident that the club's previous relegation battles will boost their chances of staying in the Premier League beyond the current season.

The Molineux-based club are currently 19th in the Premier League table with ten matches remaining.

Despite currently occupying a spot in the relegation zone, Jarvis believes that past experiences will work in the team's further over the coming weeks.

"I've think we've shown over the past two years that we've got the strength in depth in the squad to get ourselves out," the 25-year-old exclusively told Sports Mole. "Hopefully we can all call on that experience to get ourselves out of trouble this time around."

Wolves's remaining fixtures include the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal - all opposition gunning for the league title and European slots.

Although Jarvis has confessed that an easier run-in would be preferential, he is adamant that his side are capable of recording positive results against the bigger clubs.

"Of course it is tough, which isn't ideal," he added. "I know it was last season but we beat the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City and clubs like that. We're hoping to do the same this year.

"We'll keep plugging away to get the club out of trouble."

Next up for Wolves is a home fixture against Premier League champions Man United.
