Jack Price delighted with first season at Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jack Price admits that he has played more games than he expected during his first season at Molineux.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jack Price has revealed that he is delighted with his involvement in the club's promotion to the Championship.

Price has made 29 appearances for the League One champions during the current campaign, but the academy graduate has insisted that he hadn't expected to feature so frequently under head coach Kenny Jackett.

The 21-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "It's been a great first season for me in the first team.

"I remember speaking to Steve Weaver at the start of the season and I was happy to be aiming to play 15 to 20 games, so to get to being one off 30 is a good achievement."

Price recently signed a new deal with the club until 2016.
