Wolfsburg go fifth in the Bundesliga

Wolfsburg go fifth in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 win over Werder Bremen at the Volkswagen Arena.

Wolfsburg have beaten Werder Bremen 3-0 in this evening's clash at the Volkswagen Arena to leave Robin Dutt's men without a win in four games.

Maximilian Arnold gave the home side the advantage in the sixth minute, firing into Sebastian Mielitz's top corner after being fed by Ivica Olic.

The Croatian forward got himself on the end of a cross from compatriot Ivan Perisic to make it 2-0 in the the 71st minute, before the winger rounded off the scoring two minutes before the end.

Three points takes Dieter Hecking's side to fifth after 10 games in the Bundesliga, although Borussia Monchengladbach can overtake them with a win at home to Frankfurt tomorrow afternoon.
