Craig Davies has signed a two-year contract with League One side Wigan Athletic following his release by Bolton Wanderers.
The striker, 29, left Bolton after two-and-a-half years with the Trotters this summer.
"Craig's a powerful striker who has a proven track record in this division," Wigan boss Gary Caldwell told the club website.
"He's an experienced player who will inspire those around him and we are absolutely delighted he has chosen to be with us."
Davies is the newly-relegated Latics' seventh signing of the summer, following David Perkins, Richard O'Donnell, Craig Morgan, Donervon Daniels, Max Power and Sanmi Odelusi.
