League One side Wigan Athletic have signed free agent Donervon Daniels on a three-year contract.
The defender joins the Latics from West Bromwich Albion, where he failed to make a single appearance for the first team.
Wigan boss Gary Caldwell told the club website: "He's a powerful defender with a good touch, who has been brought up through a great academy and has built up good experience on loan.
"He fits our profile exactly - young, hungry players who want to grow with this club."
Daniels scored one goal in 19 appearances on loan at Blackpool in the Championship last term, and also spent the second half of the season in Scotland with Aberdeen.
