Wigan Athletic's Ryo Miyaichi is hoping to return to action within three weeks.

Wigan Athletic's on-loan winger Ryo Miyaichi has targeted a return within "a few weeks" having been out of action with injury since November.

Miyaichi could appear in the Reading fixture on February 23 and admits that it would be a "big relief" to return to action.

"The injury has been getting better but I will have to wait a few weeks yet, I'm doing well though," he told the club's official website.

"It will be big relief to get back because it has been quite a tough time to be sat on the sidelines."

Miyaichi has played just four games for Wigan this season.
