Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has praised his side's focus following Sunday's victory at Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup fifth round.

The Latics, who are currently struggling in the Premier League, defeated the Championship club 4-1 at the Galpharm Stadium.

"What is important at a football club is if you are capable of facing two competitions at once," Martinez told BBC Sport.

"A few years ago we didn't have the pool of players, but now we look like a team and the group has an understanding of what we are doing."

Wigan will face either Oldham Athletic or Everton in the quarter-finals of the competition.
