Matt Taylor has signed to Championship side West Ham for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old, who joins from Premiership outfit Bolton Wanderers, insisted that he's keen to help restore the newly-relegated club to their former glories.
"I am looking forward to helping the team get back up to the Premier League and to do that as soon as possible," Taylor told West Ham's official website.
"I see this as a very positive move for me. I don't expect to be playing Championship football for more than one season if I am being totally honest."
Taylor, who can play on the left side of defence or midfield, becomes Sam Allardyce's third summer signing following the arrivals of Abdoulaye Faye and Kevin Nolan.
