A report hints that West Ham United will release Carlton Cole and Gary O'Neil this summer.

Carlton Cole and Gary O'Neil could both reportedly depart West Ham United at the end of the current season.

The duo are out of contract this summer and as yet no agreement has been reached regarding fresh terms.

Although manager Sam Allardyce is yet to make a final decision over their futures, he is likely to inform them of his plans after next weekend's final match of the campaign against Reading, according to the London Evening Standard.

The report added that the pair may be allowed to leave Upton Park to free up finances for new recruits.

Cole joined the Hammers from Chelsea in 2006, while O'Neil arrived from Middlesbrough two years ago.
