West Ham United captain Mark Noble has praised the club for their business in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers brought in 13 new players to Upton Park before yesterday's 6pm deadline, with four of those arriving on deadline day itself.
When asked if the signings were likely to keep everyone on their toes, Noble told the club's official website: "Yes, and I think we needed the signings. As you know, if you get a few injuries then the squad starts to look a little bit thin.
"In all fairness to the joint-chairmen David Sullivan and David Gold and vice-chairman Karren Brady, they've brought in some quality players. You can see from everyone's reaction how happy everyone is."
West Ham resume their Premier League campaign on September 14 when they host Newcastle United.
