A report claims that Shane Long is ready to turn down moves to European clubs in favour of staying with West Bromwich Albion.

Irish striker Shane Long has reportedly decided that he will stay with West Bromwich Albion beyond the end of the current campaign.

German duo Hoffenheim and Schalke are both thought to be interested in the 26-year-old's services, while Sevilla and Lazio have both been linked with lodging a bid.

However, despite the interest from the continent, Long will remain with the Baggies, according to the Express & Star.

The former Reading centre-forward will enter the final year of his contract at West Brom next season.
