West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson could move for Stuttgart striker Pavel Pogrebnyak, according to The Mirror.
Pogrebnyak, 28, is understood to have been made available for £4m following the German club's signing of Hoffenheim forward Vedad Ibisevic earlier this week, and the player himself is said to be keen on a move to England.
Hodgson could take the Russian international on loan, before securing a permanent transfer in the summer as he attempts to move the Baggies away from the relegation zone in the Premier League.
Pogrebnyak, who joined Stuttgart from Zenit St. Petersburg in 2009, has scored 22 goals in 87 games for the club.
