A tally of 20 points from their first 11 matches has placed the club in fifth position, but Ridgewell is not satisfied with their current spot.
"I think we deserve to be there. In fact, I think we deserve to have even more points, to be honest," the 28-year-old told the club's official website.
Ridgewell joined West Brom from Birmingham City in the summer.
