Watford manager Quique Flores has refused to confirm or deny reports that the club are interested in signing Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Togolese forward is currently without a club after being released by Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
There were reports in September that Adebayor was denied the chance to train with the Premier League club, but when asked in today's press conference if there was truth in the rumours that Watford want him, Flores was coy.
"I don't like to talk about players who don't belong to the Watford team, but we would welcome every good player," Flores told reporters.
"No names but I love players with category, soul, talent, but no names. I respect the players I have in my squad. They are in my mind. I know him. He's very good. He's a good person."
Adebayor has also played for Arsenal and Manchester City in his career.
