Aaron Ramsey says that Wales will take "a lot of heart" into Tuesday's clash with England, after beating Montenegro last night.

Aaron Ramsey has said that Wales will take "a lot of heart" into their game against England on Tuesday after their 2-1 win over Montenegro last night.

The 20-year-old scored what turned out to be the winning goal of the game after Steve Morison put them ahead in the first half to earn Wales their first points of the qualifying campaign.

"It was a really good result for us, we can take a lot of belief from this and it's what we needed," Ramsey said. "It's always nice to score a goal but it was more important to get the win and we did that.

"We showed what we can do with the players that we have and we created plenty of opportunities.

"From this now we can take a lot of heart into the England game."

Ramsey is Wales's youngest-ever captain.
