Both Rayo Vallecano and Las Palmas will be bidding to make it back-to-back wins in Spain's top flight when the two sides lock horns at Estadio de Vallecas on Saturday afternoon.
Rayo's last league match ended in a 2-0 victory over Getafe on January 2, while Las Palmas will enter this weekend's contest off the back of a 3-0 success over Villarreal.
We say: Rayo Vallecano 1-1 Las Palmas
This is a really tough match to call, and there is not an awful lot between the sides when it comes to quality. Both managers would likely view a point as a positive result, and we are struggling to back either with any real conference, therefore settling on a low-scoring draw this weekend.

Villarreal vs. Mallorca (Saturday, 3.15pm)

Villarreal will be bidding to end a three-game losing run in all competitions when they continue their La Liga campaign with a home match against Mallorca on Saturday afternoon.
The Yellow Submarine have had a difficult campaign to date and currently sit down in 15th position in the table, level on points (19) with 14th-placed Mallorca ahead of this weekend's contest.
We say: Villarreal 1-1 Mallorca
Villarreal have only won three times at home in La Liga this season, but they will be welcoming a Mallorca outfit that have just one away league success to their name in 2023-24. Mallorca are proving difficult to beat at the moment, and Villarreal are not in good form, so we can see a low-scoring draw in this contest.

Valencia vs. Athletic Bilbao (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Athletic Bilbao will be bidding to make it seven straight wins in all competitions when they resume their La Liga campaign with a trip to an in-form Valencia on Saturday evening.
The visitors are currently third in the table, boasting 41 points from their opening 20 matches of the campaign, while Valencia are eighth, collecting 29 points from their 20 games in 2023-24.
We say: Valencia 2-2 Athletic Bilbao
Five of the last seven La Liga meetings between these two sides have finished level, and we can see another draw here. Athletic are on an impressive winning run, but Valencia's form has also been excellent, and we are finding it difficult to separate the teams in what could be an entertaining clash.

Celta Vigo vs. Real Sociedad (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Celta Vigo will be bidding to continue their strong run of form when they welcome Real Sociedad to the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos in Spain's top flight on Saturday evening.
The home side are currently 16th in the La Liga table, boasting 17 points from their opening 20 matches of the season, while Real Sociedad sit sixth, nine points behind fourth-placed Barcelona.
We say: Celta Vigo 1-2 Real Sociedad
Celta's confidence will have increased due to their recent strong run of form, and Real Sociedad will be missing a couple of important players this weekend. The Basque outfit will be fired-up to return to winning ways in the league, though, and we are backing them to edge a close contest here.
