Finnish club Kuopion Palloseura have confirmed that they have signed Freddy Adu.
The 25-year-old American, who had a trial with Manchester United in 2006, was once thought of as one of world football's brightest young talents.
However, his career has tailed off since his departure from DC United in 2007, having had brief spells in a host of different countries.
Following his release by Serbian side FK Jagodina at the end of last year, the attacker has now returned to the game in Scandinavia.
