Report: Swansea City target Watford striker Odion Ighalo

Swansea City are reportedly lining up an £8m bid to sign Odion Ighalo from Watford.

Swansea City have reportedly set their sights on poaching striker Odion Ighalo from newly-promoted Watford.

Ighalo, 25, scored 20 goals in 35 Championship appearances to help the Hornets to automatic promotion in 2014-15.

The Nigerian is under contract at Vicarage Road for two more seasons, but Swansea boss Garry Monk is ready to part with £8m for his signature, according to The Sun.

Ighalo initially joined Watford on loan from Udinese at the start of last season before making the move permanent in October.

At one point during the season, he went on a run of 14 goals in 10 games for the Hornets.
