Chico Flores is apparently on the verge of leaving Premier League club Swansea City to reunite with former manager Michael Laudrup at Qatari outfit Lekhwiya SC.
Laudrup signed the defender during his 18-month spell in charge at the Liberty Stadium, and the Dane has been alerted by rumours regarding his availability.
Reports have suggested that Swans boss Garry Monk is willing to part with the 27-year-old, who was at the centre of a couple of dressing room fallouts last season, in the summer transfer window.
Sky Sports News claims that Chico is in advanced talks with Lekhwiya and could soon be the third Spanish player to be offloaded in Monk's reshuffle of the squad, after Michu and Alejandro Pozuelo.
Chico has made 75 appearances in all competitions for the Swans since joining from Italian outfit Genoa.
