Wilfried Bony 'doesn't care' about personal goal statistics

Wilfried Bony says that he 'doesn't care' about personal statistics and would rather Swansea City perform well as a team.

Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony has insisted that he is more concerned about winning games as opposed to personal scoring statistics.

The 25-year-old has found the back of the net 18 times in 2014 in the Premier League, which is more than any other player.

"That's good, but it is not bringing the team three points which is a great pity," the South Wales Evening Post quotes Bony as saying.

"I really don't care about statistics. I want to score every game and win every game. I just try to do my best and take the chance if I can."

The Swans are currently eighth in the league table.
