Stoke City's Ryan Shotton is believed to be a target of several Premier League and Championship clubs.
Having made 26 appearances for the Potters during the 2012-2013 campaign, the 25-year-old failed to feature at all under Mark Hughes last season and was loaned out to Wigan Athletic until the New Year.
Shotton is seemingly surplus to requirements at the Britannia Stadium, but Sky Sports News reports that a handful of clubs across England's top two divisions would be interested in signing him this summer.
The Stoke academy graduate can play in defence or in midfield, and his versatility and homegrown status would be attractive qualities for managers looking to bolster their squads under restrictions.
Derby County could be one of the clubs tracking Shotton, who has also had loan spells at Barnsley and Tranmere Rovers, with coach Paul Simpson admitting that they are in the market for a right-back.
